Roads
The parish clerk is updated by Gloucestershire Highways on scheduled work that impacts traffic on local roads. Where relevant, these are shared here and on the parish council’s Facebook page.

Road closure for Bridge Repair works
Gloucestershire County Council Highways has stated that there are further delays and the scheduled works have now been postponed until the new financial year.
Gloucestershire County Council Highways apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Access
To ensure the safety of pedestrians, road users and our workforce no vehicular access will be permitted on the section of the road we will be working on at a time. We appreciate road closures are inconvenient, but in order to keep you and the team working on the road safe it is necessary.
We have planned the work so we can be in and out as quickly as possible.
Parking
Please note (as marked red on the map) will be prohibited during the works.
These works are dependent on several factors. It can be affected by things like; heavy rain, snow, changes in temperatures and other weather events as well as plant breakdown and unforeseen technical issues that arise once work has begun. All this means scheme dates and details can change at short notice and without warning. Our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

Pedestrian access to premises on or next to the road, and emergency access, will NOT be maintained as the said works involve excavations in the road.
BROAD MARSTON LANE
This road will be closed (as per the attached plan) on 19/10/2026 to 21/10/2026 to allow for installation of pressure monitoring equipment by Thames Water.
