Newland Homes hosting a public consultation regarding its proposal for 90 new homes at Tops Nurseries

MPC has been informed that Newlands has distributed a leaflet to nearly 200 homes in the vicinity of the proposed development, and the leaflet is attached below.

Anyone can submit comments to Newlands, as detailed in the attached information, and Newlands have stated that they have no deadline regarding receiving comments as yet.

Once a formal planning application is submitted to Cotswold District Council (CDC), Mickleton Parish Council (MPC) will be informed, as a statutory consultee, and it will submit its thoughts. At this time, residents will also be able to submit their comments to CDC.

The decision of whether to grant or refuse an application rests solely with the planning authority, CDC, and not with MPC. The planning authority will take all comments (rejecting non-material submissions) into consideration and make its decision
accordingly.
