The doubling of the housing allocation from the worst-case expectation of around 600 to over 1,200 has come as a shock to many, including Mickleton Parish Council. There is a huge amount of information to process in order to understand what options the village may have. Mickleton Parish Council will be reviewing the situation as a matter of urgency, and will provide an update as soon as it can.

Meanwhile, should you wish to see the full details of the proposed Local Plan, this is available on Cotswold District Council’s website at this link (scroll to the bottom of the page), along with further documentation relating to the 3rd August Overview & Scrutiny Committee meeting: New Local Plan puts infrastructure, affordable homes and landscape protection at the heart of growth | Cotswold District Council News
