Gloucestershire County Council has announced the launch of the public consultation for the county’s first Local Nature Recovery Strategy (LNRS). The survey closes on 5pm - 19 October 2025.

Over the past 20 years, hedgehogs have shown a 30-75% decline across different countryside areas. One of the main reasons that hedgehogs are struggling in Britain is because our fences and walls are becoming more and more secure, reducing the amount of land available to them.
