Investment Fraud: Every two days someone in Gloucestershire becomes a victim of investment fraud. This is a particularly harmful threat, with the average person losing more than £44,000 when they become a victim. Look out for the red flags:
*Almost two-thirds of investment fraud victims believed they were investing in CRYPTOCURRENCY
*Over 70% of investment fraud victims are contacted on SOCIAL MEDIA platforms; most commonly WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram.
