Hobbies: Keeping fit and eating healthily is very important to Joanne. In addition to her football work with the Harriers Joanne likes to run and play tennis. Reading and Crocheting keep her occupied too. Joanne has recently acquired an allotment in the village and looks forward to growing some produce for her family.

Family: Married to Lee, they share six children between them, the two youngest still reside at the family home. The elder at high school and the younger at primary. They are also blessed with three grandchildren. Joanne considers herself the zookeeper in her home, with four cats, one dog and two snakes!

Reason for joining the parish council: Joanne has always been a ‘doer’ her parents instilled this in her from an early age with dancing and St Johns. They were always available to help when needed. Joanne loves this village, the people have been so welcoming to her and her family. There is always need for a ‘doer’ so she looks forward to rolling her sleeves up and doing all she can.

Interesting fact: Joanne was a beaver leader for the 1st Honeybourne Beaver Colony for five years. She has jumped out of a plane and wing walked. She is a dare devil.
