Planning

The parish clerk receives an email consultation from Cotswold District Council (CDC) for planning applications/notifications. These applications are discussed or ratified at a full council meeting. Mickleton Parish Council has no powers to approve or reject planning applications, as this is the remit of CDC, but it can and does make comments on applications.

The CDC Planning Portal can be accessed via the link below. You can carry out a simple search using the application number, postcode, keyword or single line of the address.

Anyone can make a comment on a planning application. You do not need to register to look at or comment on an application. If you do register, then you will also be able to:

  • track applications
  • save your searches
  • get email notifications about tracked applications and new search results

To have the most impact, it’s important that comments are based on material planning grounds – here’s some information on how best to comment on a planning application: https://www.planningaid.co.uk/…/209064089-How-do-I…
